Crypto assets are financial assets based on a novel technology (blockchain) that have recently gained importance as high-risk investment assets. Access to this type of instruments by people without adequate knowledge can lead to inappropriate investment decisions, as well as the loss of a large part of the investment.
The Financial Education Plan has developed this course, which will consist of de 6 study blocks and cover the basics of the world of crypto assets. It is aimed at anyone, regardless of their level of previous knowledge.
The aim of this course is to explain, as clearly and simply as possible, the benefits and risks we face when we use or invest in crypto assets.
The second block of this course focuses on the main types of crypto assets that currently exist, their characteristics and main uses, as well as the most relevant aspects of current regulation on crypto assets both in Spain and in the European Union.
